ReelEye

Privacy policy

Effective 26 October 2026 · Applies to the ReelEye Android app (com.reeleye.app)

The short version: ReelEye collects nothing. There is no account and no sign-in. The app has no internet access, so it cannot send anything off your phone. Your reel counts are stored only on your phone, and you can delete them at any time by uninstalling the app.

What ReelEye stores, and where

ReelEye keeps these numbers in its private storage on your phone:

That's all. This data is never uploaded, never backed up to the cloud, and is not copied when you move to a new phone. Other apps cannot read it.

What ReelEye does not collect

We do not collect, store or share any personal information. ReelEye does not collect your name, email, phone number, contacts, location, photos, messages, browsing history, advertising ID or device identifiers. It has no analytics, no crash reporting service, no advertising and no third-party tracking code.

How ReelEye uses Accessibility

To count reels, ReelEye uses Android's Accessibility Service. You choose whether to turn it on. Here is exactly what it does:

You can turn it off at any time in Settings > Accessibility.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, ReelEye shows a quiet notification when your eye reaches a new stage (for example, 50 reels in a day). On the lock screen it shows only "ReelEye". You can turn notifications off in Settings.

Permissions

ReelEye does not request internet, location, camera, microphone, contacts, storage or phone permissions.

Deleting your data

Because everything is on your phone, you are in full control. To delete all ReelEye data, uninstall the app, or go to Settings > Apps > ReelEye > Storage > Clear data. There is nothing for us to delete on our side, because we never receive any data.

Children

ReelEye is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.

Future features

If a future version adds a feature that needs the internet (for example, comparing counts with friends, or ads), we will update this policy and the Google Play Data safety section before that version is released, and explain clearly in the app what is shared and why.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
